Filipino-American Architect Lira Luis wins first AIA Athena Young Professional Award

Architect Lira Luis is a Filipino American and also the first Filipino-American protege at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin since 1932 was recently awarded the first ever AIA Athena Young Professional Award.

The Jury of The American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Diversity & Inclusion and ATHENA International voted to give the 2010 AIA Athena Young Professional Award to Lira Luis, AIA, RIBA, NCARB, LEED AP, Principal Architect at the firm Atelier Lira Luis, LLC.
