Local energy consultant Nick Nichols wrote on National Power Corporation August sales for Luzon plummeting:

The Decision notes that NPC’s filed Automatic Cost Adjustment for August increased by 223%. What drove this, per the ERC, was not a spike in economic indices but rather a precipitous drop in NPC sales which decreased by 81%.

But the ERC, very strangely, stays silent in the Decision about why the NPC sales precipitously dropped. You know they asked.
