Aquino on Warpath against travel advisories

The Inquirer published that President Aquino confronted President Obama and other APEC leaders with regard to travel advisories:

Mr. Aquino said he was able to speak with Obama on the sidelines of the 18th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which ended Sunday.

“We mentioned to President Obama our displeasure with the US travel advisory and he promised that he would look into it and pleaded for understanding,” Mr. Aquino said.

Obama was the second leader that President Aquino had confronted over the issue of the travel advisory while attending the APEC forum. On Saturday, he raised the issue with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper during their bilateral talks.

Mr. Aquino has been on the warpath since the United States and Canada, along with France, Australia, New Zealand and Britain, issued on Nov. 2 warnings of an imminent attack for the first time in shopping malls in Metro Manila. Japan later issued a toned down version of the travel advisory.

Mr. Aquino has complained that there was no basis for the alerts and that his government was not consulted.

President Noynoy made a comment that lately he has gotten the thought that maybe his popularity has been negatively affected by the Quirino Grandstand massacre and him protecting his BFF Rico Puno.

Maybe nagigising-gising din naman si Presidente. He should know that he/Noynoy also gets laughed at — what kind of Inner-Circle does he have??? — when Coloma suggests that Obama pleaded with Noynoy or that Australia or UK should write in Niponggo when writing advisories to their citizens.

Next step — Noynoy gets labelled “just another crook” when the next big shoe falls — corruption by one of Malacanang Inner-circle.

So much hope — so much opportunity to pass important laws like RH or Freedom of Information, so much opportunity to stress that COMPETENCE MATTERS in the Noynoy Malacanang — unfortunately being wasted.

And then, there are a few who would blog periodically to wonder what is this hopping hopping what is really the truth about Noynoy’s love life?

UP n Grad, It’s Coloma. *shrug* He’s had too many boo-boos lately.

And I still can’t believe that Coloma said the new Japanese advisory, because it was in Niponggo for the Japanese, was therefore OKAY.

Arigato domo domo whazzzzzup with this??? Is Coloma asking UK to write their travel advisories in Niponggo, too?

Oh, wow, President Noynoy will the be the first head of state who made President Obama go on his knees and plead for understanding.
