ILECO II plans 2-3 month power purchases from Dingle and biomass

<blockquote>Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. told a press conference Thursday that during their meeting with the ILECO II on Wednesday, they have discussed the plan to buy 3-5 megawatts of power from Salcon Power Corporation which has bought the power plant in Dingle, Iloilo from the National Power Corporation.

Gov. Defensor said that the ILECO II contemplates to also buy biomass from Steven Chan who owns the Central de Azucarera de San Antonio based in Passi City to further increase the power supply that is being needed by the municipalities such as New Lucena, Zarraga, Dumangas, Mina, Janiuay, Badiangan, Bingawan, San Enrique, Duenas and Dingle that are consumers of power distributed by ILECO II.</blockquote>
