The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines has decided to enter the cyberspace battleground on the reproductive heath bill.
In the press launch yesterday of the “CBCP for Life” website, CBCP Media Office director Msgr. Pedro Quitorio said the Church wants to penetrate the online media so it could reach more of the faithful, including those who are supporting the RH bill, and because the “war against life” is taking place mostly on the internet.
He said about 85 percent of the “war against life” happens on the internet “and not really on radio, TV or print.”
The CBCP said it would go on a massive campaign to teach the people about the value of life, and problems being posed by the RH bill.
