Ruben A. Vegafria, president of Promote CDO Foundation, Inc., said during the city’s Business One-Stop Shop connectivity launch on Thursday last week that this is the city’s next target.
“For the next phase of this facility’s constant improvement, we are laying the groundwork to enable enterprise owners to pay their business permit fees with accredited banks or through the Internet using their credit cards,” Mr. Vegafria said.
The one-stop shop was established in August 2009 as a partnership between the city government, Promote CDO, Department of Trade and Industry-Misamis Oriental Provincial Office, and the Local Implementation of National Competitiveness for Economic Growth program to assess, design and implement the city’s business licensing system.
With the facility’s connectivity, the main processing center at the City Hall can now access or verify the applicant’s compliance with requirements on zoning, fire, health and building safety from the City Health Office, City Building Office and City Fire Department.
