Tropical Storm Falcon to bring more rain for Manila, Luzon

Metro Manila will get no reprieve from rains today as Tropical Storm Falcon (Meari) is still expected to bring monsoon rains over much of Luzon.  Monsoon rain will pour down from Central Luzon down to Southern Luzon.  Satellite imagery show nasty weather covering much of the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration also raised public storm signal number 1 over Isabela, Cagayan, Calayan, Babuyan Group of Islands and the Batanes Group.  The public is advised to take precaution from flooding, and landslides.

The weather bureau also raised gale force wind warnings for the eastern seaboard of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as well as the western seaboard of Luzon and Visayas. PAGASA expects at least 3.7 meters of wave height up to 5.5 meters.  Sea conditions on both the Western and Eastern seaboard of the Philippines will be rough to very rough, according to the weather bureau.
