DEPED: No afternoon classes at NCR due to weather

The Department of Education made a decision late Friday morning to suspend Classes in the nation’s capital for Presechool, Elementary, and High School in both public and private schools on account of heavy rain, and advice from the Philippine weather bureau, PAGASA. On the education department’s twitter account, they apologized to parents for the decision.

“We apologize for causing inconvenience to our parents,” wrote Officer-in-Charge Ms. Lily Domingo (@MaryRoseRamos1).

“Our primary concern is the safety of our students.”
