On Saturday, May 12, 2012, for the first time ever,  Habitat for Humanity organized  an Asia-Pacific-Wide Youth Build  in  China, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines with 5,000 volunteers from Generation Now.

 

The Youth Take On Navotas City Habitat for Humanity Philippines Youth Council  Officers FROM LEFT Simon Tantoco, Alexandra 'Alex' Eduque, Kevin Yang and Isabel Martel Francisco will lead 1,000 Filipino Youth build homes for 100 Families at the  Habitat Youth Build on Saturday,  May 12, 2012, also happening simultaneously in Thailand, China, Indonesia and India.

In the Philippines, the build will be take place in 2 sites: Barangay Tanza, Navotas City and Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. For each site, there will be 1,000 young Filipino builders building 100 homes.
