Pulse Asia published their latest survey regarding the Pork Barrel Scam.

In a nutshell: Pinoys think at least half of lawmakers budget for projects lost to corruption but 42% want projects prioritized. Budget scrutiny not on top list of lawmaker’s job.

    presumably, they should prioritze projects, means that they should 1) implement them, and 2) minimize corruption.

    otherwise its makes no sense to prioritize an activity in which they get less than half.

      Gabby: Pork barrel is the appropriation of government spending for localized projects secured solely or primarily to bring money to a representative’s district. The usage originated inAmerican English.[1] In election campaigns, the term is used in derogatory fashion to attack opponents. Scholars, however, use it as a technical term regarding legislative control of local appropriations.[2][3]
